Let's talk lamps. There are two major lighting trends that have been popping up over the past several months and seem to be here to stay a while: empire shapes and pleated lampshades.
For a while, drum shaped shades were having a modern moment, but it appears the more classic empire shape (or sloped shades as some people call them), are back. And not just any old empire shade will do, it seems that the more pleats and scallops involved, the better.
It's always fun to see a trend come full circle, and we're personally excited that this one is catching on so quickly - because this makes it easier to incorporate the style into your home at a more reasonable price point.
We've rounded up twelve beautiful lamps with sloped shades and pleats to help you try out this trend in your own home (and of course, snuck in a few rattan options because we love what we love!) Options 1 through 6 are our "affordable finds" for well under $100, and options 7 through 12 are our "splurge-worthy" higher end lamps.

We'd love to hear, have you given in to these lighting trends already? Which of these beautiful options is your favorite?

I was just skimming, then I ended up clicking into Drift Boss and immediately got why people get hooked—there’s that one-button thing going on, but it still feels like you have to be on point with your timing. I also liked that it doesn’t shove distractions in your face while you’re trying to figure things out. The “How to Play” part is right there in a neat little block, so you don’t have to scroll forever to catch the basics. The layout keeps the key info…
