A Fresh Start

I started this round up in early January with every intention of it kicking off a fresh start of inspiring (and more frequent) posts this year, but here we are in March and I'm just getting around to sharing. C'est la vie!

I'm not sure if it's the cold weather, the short days, or a combination of both - but I am so ready for spring. I'm craving open windows, fresh garden blooms, and al fresco meals. I have been in major nesting mode lately and it feels good to finally tackle home cleaning and organizing projects that I've put off for the past several months. I'm also looking forward to making some home updates that I've been indecisive about since we moved in. It's been a slow, intentional process - but progress feels good!

I just bought this tablecloth and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely it turned out to be for the price. I've been eyeing these salt and pepper mills, as well as a topiary for my kitchen but am a little hesitant about how long I'd be able to keep it alive. I'm also finding myself drawn to the sudden revival of silver and polished nickel. It's already the dominant finish in my home, so accessorizing with silver accents (like this cute frame) seems to flow naturally. That said, I've been slow to embrace the silver trend when it comes to jewelry, and have had these gold seashells studs on my wish list since I first saw them - just need them to pop back in stock already!

I hope your year is off to a promising start (state of the world notwithstanding...) and that you're finding small ways to infuse joy into your day to day life. xx
