When it comes to Mother’s Day gifting, quarantine or not, you really can’t go wrong with flowers, wine, or a thoughtful card expressing gratitude for the many sacrifices your mother - or whoever you may be celebrating - has made for you. But in case you do need some creative ideas for quarantine friendly gifting, we’ve rounded up twelve “stay home” inspired gifts to help make your loved ones feel appreciated and cared for, even from afar.

one - This woven basket would be perfect for a mom that loves beach days or trips to the farmer’s market, and until then, hanging it on a door handle makes it a functional and pretty storage solution (I use one to store grocery bags in the kitchen!)

two - These beautiful tumblers are perfect for a mom that’s constantly on the move. The Rifle Paper Co. designs are perfect for spring, and come in a range of styles: water bottles for a mom that likes to exercise, mugs for a mom that loves to enjoy coffee on her morning walks, and wine tumblers for a mom that likes to enjoy happy hour on the patio.

three - An obvious but always appreciated gift is any beauty regimen or self care set that will encourage your mom to continue to devote time to her own beauty rituals at home, even if she can’t make it to her usual salon or spa. This trio of luxurious rose and coconut products is a perfect option to help your mom nourish and hydrate her skin.

four - If you want the option of curating a special gift box for mom but don’t know exactly where to begin, we recently discover Knack, a custom gift box company with an adorable selection of notebooks, candles, wine, sweets, and self care products to choose from. It’s a great option for a range of budgets, and being able to hand select the items that go into the box makes it feel a bit more personalized than your typical pre-selected gift basket. If you’re interested, you can use this referral link for $20 off your order of $100.

five - If your mom enjoys gardening, these painted gardening tools are both functional and pretty enough to leave out on display.

six - It’s easy to see why foodies and designers alike are so taken with Brightland olive oils. The bottles are pretty enough to leave out on the counter and re-use as vases, and we can confirm the taste is, in fact, as good as the design. These olive oils are perfect for everything from roasting vegetables, to salad dressings, to enjoying directly with some fresh bread. You can use this referral link to receive $10 off your first order.

seven - It’s no secret that many of us have been favoring our “comfy clothes” more often than not for the past several months. What better time to gift your mom an upgrade to her slippers, robe, or loungewear? If your mom already has the loungewear covered, consider helping her upgrade her sleep routine with a silk pillowcase or silk eye mask.

eight - Another useful gift when your mom is spending more time than usual at home and indoors is a nice candle in one of her favorite scents. If you aren’t sure what scent she might enjoy, you usually can’t go wrong with a pick from Diptyque or Anthropologie.

nine - Trend alert! Block print quilts are popping up everywhere these days, and it’s easy to see why. They’re a great way to bring a pretty pop of color to any space in your home without the commitment (or investment) of wallpaper or a large rug. There are so many beautiful options on Etsy and Amazon, but we’re drawn to the cheery green and blue hues (and reasonable price tag!) of this one.

ten - Like most people, your mom has probably been washing her hands more often than normal these days - which means she might appreciate an indulgent and hydrating lotion to help soothe dry skin. This is one of our favorites. Another idea is to gift her a set of soap and lotion that will make the entire hand washing ritual feel a bit more luxurious.

eleven - If your mom is a tea drinker, she may already have all of the typical tea station supplies. But, something she likely doesn’t have already is a tea bloom! Yes, a flower that will unfurl and bloom directly in her tea pot. This is a really unique gift idea that would certainly be a fun addition (and topic of conversation) at mom’s next opportunity to host her girlfriends for tea.

twelve - Once again, you can’t go wrong with anything meant to help mom get comfy and relax at home. These slippers are no exception, white and fluffy and a perfect match for cozy mornings and low key nights at home. Who even remembers "real shoes"?
